Chihuahua are totally amazing once you see what they truly are all about
There is a terrible misconception that chihuahuas are bad dogs, that they’re aggressive, constantly reactive, high-strung, and extremely anxious. Chihuahuas are just like any other dog in that giving them their space and respecting them, but also showing them love and affection, will ensure a wonderful relationship between dog and human.
Chihuahuas really do love to make you laugh, if you laugh at something they do and it’s in good spirits (so not at them getting hurt or scared etc) they’ll keep doing that thing because they find it inherently rewarding. Tater and Fae both have behaviors they’ll just repeat at me until I interact with them about it, because it made me laugh the first time they did it.
